IPPF Representatives Visit PPAT to Strengthen Monitoring and Evaluation Systems

During August 26–27, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Director of the Association, welcomed and participated in a technical workshop on monitoring and evaluation of sexual and reproductive health programs with Dr. Rajrattan Lokhande, Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor, Humanitarian Programme, and Mr. Kumar Das, Senior Advisor – Performance, Learning and Impact, from the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).

Participants in the meeting included Ms. Saneekan Rosamontri, Project Research and Development Manager; Ms. Padivarada Dermsunteah, Monitoring and Evaluation Manager; Ms. Orawan Kerdjan, Planning and Evaluation Officer; Ms. Laksika Ngoset, Research and Development Officer; and Ms. Chanisiree Pumthong, Academic Officer.

The meeting focused on sharing knowledge to improve and strengthen PPAT’s monitoring and evaluation systems for sexual and reproductive health programs in both emergency and non-emergency contexts. Additionally, the IPPF representatives visited the PPAT Bangkhen Medical Clinic and other PPAT departments to gain further insight into the organization’s operations.

PPAT conducted a workshop, on 29 March 2023, to improve communication capability to Teacher Leaders who join the HIV Prevention Promotion among Youths in Educational Institutes Project (second period). This workshop was conducted to strengthen communication skills in relation with HIV prevention to Teacher Leaders and for them to disseminate the knowledge to youth in education institutes accurately.
