Bangkok – September 26, 2024 – The Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra (PPAT), in collaboration with the Bureau of Reproductive Health, Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health, and Bayer Thai Co., Ltd., jointly organized a campaign to mark World Contraception Day 2024, observed annually on September 26. The campaign was held under the theme “Empowering Choices, One Decision at a Time: Building Knowledge for the Future of the New Generation”, with the aim of driving accurate and comprehensive knowledge about contraception. The initiative encourages young people to make informed decisions and take charge of their own futures with quality and confidence. It also supports the reduction of unintended pregnancies, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event took place at the 6th Floor Conference Room, Somdet Uppatham Building, PPAT Headquarters, Soi Vibhavadi Rangsit 44, Bangkok.
ไบเออร์ร่วมกับ สำนักอนามัยการเจริญพันธุ์ กรมอนามัย และสวท สนับสนุนกิจกรรมรณรงค์ “วันคุมกำเนิดโลก” มาอย่างต่อเนื่องโดย ปีนี้นับเป็นปีที่ 17 โดยมีเป้าหมายในการให้ข้อมูลเรื่องการคุมกำเนิดเพื่อเป็นทางเลือกในการตัดสินใจที่ถูกต้อง ลดจำนวนการตั้งครรภ์ที่ไม่พึงประสงค์ เคารพสิทธิในตัวตนของคนรุ่นใหม่ ทำให้ทุกการตั้งครรภ์เป็นการตั้งครรภ์ที่พึงประสงค์ นำไปสู่คุณภาพชีวิตและอนาคตที่ดี
นอกจากนี้ยังได้รับเกียรติจาก นางเตือนใจ คงสมบัติ ผู้ตรวจราชการ กระทรวงการพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ นางเพ็ญพรรณ จิตตะเสนีย์ เหรัญญิกสมาคมฯ นางสาวอินทรดารา เชื่องดี กรรมการ สมาคมฯ ดร.นันทกาญจน์ สูงสุมาลย์ วูดแฮม ผู้อำนวยการสมาคมฯ ผู้บริหารจากบริษัท ไบเออร์ไทย จำกัด น้องๆเยาวชนนักศึกษาจาก วิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพณิชยการราชดำเนิน วิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีวิมลบริหารธุรกิจ และสื่อมวลชนเข้าร่วมงานอย่างคับคั่ง อบอุ่น
