Distribution of Hygiene Kits to Landslide-Affected Families

On November 7th, the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (Chiang Rai PPAT Medical Clinic), together with the Mobile Medical Unit of the Princess Mother’s Medical Volunteer Foundation Chiang Rai Province, provided education on sexual and reproductive health to families affected by flooding and landslides. The activity took place at Chao Pho Luang Uppatham Border Patrol Police School, Ban Hua Mae Kham, Mae Salong Nai Subdistrict, Mae Fa Luang District, Chiang Rai Province. Hygiene kits were also distributed to 30 families affected by landslides and to vulnerable groups. This activity was carried out under the project “Meeting the Essential SRH Needs of Communities Affected by Floods and Landslides in Northern Thailand,” with funding support from the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).
