PPAT Conducts Training for Elderly Volunteer Leaders in Bor Farang Rimnam Community

On December 21st, the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT), in collaboration with Public Health Service Center 17 Prachaniwet and Bor Farang Rimnam Community, organized a training activity for volunteer leaders to provide knowledge toward becoming healthy older adults. The activity also included home visits to elderly residents in the area. The event took place at Bor Farang Rimnam Community, Chatuchak District, Bangkok and was led by Ms. Nuttakan Yimrit, Deputy Director of PPAT; Mr. Worachote Lamudthong, Project Manager; Ms. Pattaya Buranaprapa; PPAT staff members; and student interns from Kasetsart University (Bangkhen Campus). The event featured health promotion activities for the elderly, such as memory exercises and Mandala coloring. Participants also received health promotion kits for older adults, who were the primary target group of this activity.
