PPAT Mae Sot Joins the Campaign for National Labor Day 2025

In the morning of May 1st, Miss Nuchanat Raruen, Project Manager, led the working team of the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) Mae Sot Project, Tak Province, to participate in a campaign march for the National Labor Day 2025 (B.E. 2568). The theme of the campaign was “Safe Tak Labor, Free from Drugs, Improving Quality of Life, Friend-Connecting.” The event was presided over by Mr. Suwanit Suriyakul Na Ayutthaya, Deputy Governor of Tak Province, who also joined the march alongside partner organizations from both the public and private sectors, such as the Tak Provincial Welfare and Labor Protection Office, at Wat Don Mun, Phra That Pha Daeng Subdistrict, Mae Sot District, Tak Province. Additionally, PPAT also set up an exhibition booth to provide knowledge on reproductive health, family planning, and the prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The Deputy Governor of Tak Province visited the booth and participated in the activities. The PPAT booth received significant interest from the event participants.

Prof. Dr. Luedech Girdwichai, PPAT President, with 17th Council Members, have participated in campaign activity to end gender-based violence under the project ‘Social Movement to Raise Awareness and End Sexual Harassment in School’ which is the collaboration between PPAT, IPPF, UN Women and Panyapiwat Technology College wherein board members, staff, network organizations and medical students from Chulalongkorn University as well as Youth from Panyapiwat Technology College have also joined the campaign. 🗣 It’s everyone’s duty to end violence…
