MOU (5)-1

On the morning of 25 April, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sukanya Sripho, Secretary-General of the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT), participated in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between PPAT, under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra, and the Private Vocational Education Association of Thailand (PAVET), under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

The collaboration aims to promote gender equality, foster accurate understanding of sexual rights and reproductive health, and support young people in accessing appropriate services. This initiative will be carried out under the project titled “Promotion of Gender Equality and Access to Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and Services.” The MOU was jointly signed by Mr. Wichian Neamnom, President of PAVET, who also presided over the ceremony.Honorable guests and witnesses attended the event, which took place at the main conference room, 6th floor, Somdet Uppatham Building, PPAT headquarters in Bangkok.

The primary objective of this agreement is to advance gender equality and youth access to sexual and reproductive health rights and services within educational settings. It also seeks to raise awareness, provide education on sexual rights and reproductive health, and strengthen the capacity of youth to protect and advocate for their rights—especially in preventing and addressing unintended pregnancies in schools.
