Mobile Unit Distributes Essential Items for Mothers and Children Under 5

This morning (June 26th), the project working team of the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) in Mae Sot District, Tak Province, together with the Burma Children Medical Fund (BCMF), jointly deployed a mobile unit to distribute essential items for mothers and children under 5 years old. These beneficiaries are individuals displaced by the fighting on the Thai-Myanmar border, residing in the Baan Jedi Kho community and the Baan Mae Kon Ken area of Maha Wan Subdistrict, Mae Sot District, Tak Province. A total of 100 sets of essential mother and child items were distributed to promote access to necessary supplies for children. Concurrently, the team provided education on family planning to the population receiving the items.
