On July 22nd, Khun Papavee Chairak, PPAT Project Consultant, and Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, PPAT Executive Director, led the executive team to a meeting with Mr. Zcongklod Khawjang, Director of the Policy Coordination Group for Immigrants and Migrants and Assistant Head of the Operations Center for Displaced Persons Office, Ministry of Interior (MOI), along with MOI staff.
The meeting took place at the conference room of the Operations Center for Displaced Persons Office. The main objective of the discussion was to explore avenues for cooperation in caring for and supporting displaced persons from conflict specifically regarding reproductive health issues.
PPAT, as an organization specializing in reproductive health and family planning, presented useful data and practical guidelines for integrating efforts with the Operations Center for Displaced Persons Office, Ministry of Interior. The shared goal is to improve the quality of life and access to essential reproductive health and family planning services for displaced persons from conflict.
