Ban Hom Lamduan holds Songkran blessing and merit-making ceremony

In the afternoon of 11 April 2025, the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT), By the Ban Hom Lamduan residential care center for older persons and those with dependency, organized the activity “Water-Pouring and Offering Alms to Monks for the Songkran Festival 2025.” The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, PPAT Executive Director, along with the Association’s management team, staff, residents, and their families. Together, they performed the traditional rituals of bathing the Buddha image and pouring water over the hands of elders to ask for blessings — in celebration of Thai New Year and in continuation of cherished cultural traditions. The activity took place at Ban Hom Lamduan, Vibhavadi Rangsit 44, Bangkok, in a warm and joyful atmosphere.
