Strategic Plan Adjustment to Propel PPAT Implementation

Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, PPAT Executive Director, with board members and staff from all regions participated in the Strategic Plan 2023 – 2028 Adjustment workshop on 24 – 25 February 2023 in order for all staff to understand the new strategic plan. The meeting was also honorably attended by PPAT council, namely, Ms. Penpan Chittasenee, Treasurer, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sukanya Sripho, Registrar, Ms. Sirichandra Balakanich, council member, Asst. Prof. Sanya Patrachai, council member and Mr. Poramet Maneerat, youth representative, to provide feedback at the 6th floor meeting room.

On October 15th, Mr. Pongsakorn Saokhiao, Project Officer, traveled to Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province, to distribute hygiene kits to 35 households of young mothers under the age of 20 who had been affected by severe flooding. Access to the area was extremely difficult, with travel possible only by boat. The hygiene kits included sanitary pads, male and female underwear, towels, condoms, and essential daily necessities. PPAT collaborated with Aids Healthcare Foundation (AHF) and Bangkhen Primary School (Waisali Anuson) to conduct activity on World Menstrual Hygiene Day to primary female students with the topic on female hygiene, types of sanitary pads and how to use them as well as distribute sanitary pads to students….
