Develop Youth Peer Leaders to Prevent Unplanned Pregnancy in Education Institutes

PPAT with Bayer Thailand conducted youth training ‘Learning and Sharing!!, SRHR’, on 25 April 2022, under the project “SRHR Promotion Accessibility through Virtual Education Meeting”. Mr. Somjet Srikanok, PPAT Executive Director, with Khun JinA Lee, Managing Director and General Manager of Bayer’s Pharmaceutical Department, were giving welcome remarks. The instructors of the training were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Manopchai Thamkhantho, obstetrician, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sivanard Hongprayoon, Deputy Dean of Communication Arts Faculty, Dhurakij Pundit University, Dr. Phanthakan Thanon, Assistant Director of Digital Media and Creation major, and Khun Arnon Buapha, Professor of Digital Media and Creation program.

The purpose of the training is to equip 60 youths with knowledge, understanding, communication skills and ability to choose type of media for unplanned pregnancy campaign in Education Institute through virtual training in which PPAT youth member, Ms. Intharadara Chuengdee, also joined the session.

Prof. Dr. Surasak Taneepanichskul, PPAT 16th president, presented as a chair and awarder for the award ceremony of PPAT Elderly Care Center Logo Design Contest on 24 March 2021. Mr. Rungroj Seangpun was announced as the logo design’s winner as well as Mr. Tawan Dissutham who won first-place in Elderly Care Center’s naming, ‘Bann Horm Lamduan’, which has become the official name of our Elderly Care Center….
The workshop was conducted on 5-6 January 2022, chaired by Mr. Somjet Srikanok, Executive Director and instructed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Dusita Phuengsamran from Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University. The participants are PPAT staff who will conduct a research for PPAT’s clinics in which the objective of the workshop is to present the research report and establish Sexual and Reproductive Health knowledge in order for clinic and PPAT’s development….
