ศ.นพ.สุรศักดิ์ ฐานีพานิชสกุล นายก สวท คณะกรรมการ และเจ้าหน้าที่ สวท ให้การต้อนรับ Dr. Alvaro Bermejo ผู้อำนวยการใหญ่ (Director-General) ของสหพันธ์วางแผนครอบครัวระหว่างประเทศ ( International Planned Parenthood Federation – IPPF) ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมการดำเนินงานของ สวท พร้อมกับเข้าเยี่ยมชมการทำงานของคลินิก เวชกรรม สวท ในโอกาสมาเยือนประเทศไทยเพื่อพบปะภาคีเครือข่าย โดย สวท เป็น สมาชิก ของ IPPFเพียงหนึ่งเดียวในประเทศไทย และในช่วงค่ำวันเดี่ยวกัน สวท ได้จัดงานเลี้ยงต้อนรับ Dr. Alvaro Bermejo และคณะ โดยมีหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนเข้าร่วมงาน
