Lessons Learned: Mechanisms for Empowering Youth in Remote Areas

On August 15th, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Director of the Association, served as the moderator for the panel discussion titled “From Peer to Peer: Mechanisms for Empowering Youth in Remote Areas to Access Reproductive Health Equitably.” The panelists included Ms.Roongrasamee Sriwongphan, Deputy Director of the Health Center for Ethnic Groups,Marginalized Populations, and Migrant Workers; Ms. Chanthrarat Narumitwichayanan, Professional Nurse Practitioner at Ban Mae Na Health Promoting Hospital, Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai Province; Mr. Jinnawat Khankhamkat, Senior Community Development Officer at Ban Luang Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province; and Mr. Nasimo Jaueay, Youth Advocate Supporting Young Mothers in Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai Province. The session took place as part of the 4th National Conference on Sexual Health: “Strong Community for Healthy Sexuality” held at the Grand Richmond Hotel, Nonthaburi Province.

PPAT conducted a training to blind and other volunteers on 3 May 2022 under the project “Covid-19 Prevention and Care Accessibility to Most At-Risk Population” at the meeting room of Thailand Association of the Blind.
