Distribution of Hygiene Kits to Families Affected by Floods and Landslides in Mae Fa Luang District

On October 30th, the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) (Chiang Rai PPAT Medical Clinic), in collaboration with the “Khon Khon for Change” Group, Raks Thai Foundation, Mae Fa Luang District Public Health Office, Phaya Phrai Health Promoting Hospital, the village head of Ban Mae Mor, and village health volunteers (VHVs) of Ban Mae Mor, conducted a mobile health outreach at Ban Mae Mor, Thoet Thai Subdistrict, Mae Fa Luang District, Chiang Rai Province. The activity provided health services and reproductive health services, along with the distribution of hygiene kits to families affected by flooding and landslides in the area.

The operation was led by Ms. Kornrawee Sanduang, Project Manager, together with the project team. This activity was carried out under the project “Meeting the Essential SRH Needs of Communities Affected by Floods and Landslides in Northern Thailand,” with funding support from the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).
