Advocacy For Sexual Transmitted Infections Prevention, Tak Province

This morning (April 4), Ms. Nuchanat Raruen, Project Manager, led the project team from PPAT Mae Sot, Tak Province, to participate in a advocacy activity providing knowledge on reproductive health, family planning, and prevention of sexually transmitted infections. The activity was held during the ceremony awarding outstanding workplaces and schools, as well as a practical workshop on implementing workplace safety standards for safety officers in target workplaces under the project to strengthen the capacity and network of CSOs for the protection of migrant workers’ rights (CNMRP). The project is supported by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the Adventist Foundation for Development and Relief (ADRA Thailand). The event took place at Centara Life Hotel Mae Sot, Mae Sot, Tak Province. The PPAT booth attracted significant interest from participants.

On 24 June, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Executive Director of PPAT, presided over the opening of a training session on anti-corruption and financial management. This training, a collaboration between PPAT and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA Thailand), was held to ensure transparency, good governance, and accountability in operations.
