Engaging with the Parliamentary Committee to Promote Reproductive Health Awareness

On the morning of September 23, the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) participated in a knowledge exchange forum with the Parliamentary Committee on Children, Youth, Women, the Elderly, Persons with Disabilities, Ethnic Groups, and Gender Diversity of the House of Representatives. The event was a seminar titled “Reproductive Hygiene: Awareness for Every Life Stage”. Khun Serene Ramnee, Project Manager of PPAT, joined the panel discussion on the topic “Adolescent Reproductive Health and Policies on Sexual Harassment, Menstruation, and Sanitary Products.” The seminar aimed to educate adolescents, working-age adults, and the elderly on reproductive hygiene and its practical application in daily life. It also sought to build adolescents’ resilience against sexual harassment and to promote inclusive participation in shaping reproductive health policies and legislation across different age groups. The seminar took place at Meeting Room 606, Parliament Building, Bangkok.
