HIV Prevention Planning in Education Institutes in Pathumthani Province

PPAT conducted a meeting to conduct implementation planning and guidance on 15 February 2023, under the project The HIV Prevention Promotion among Youths in Educational Institutes in Pathumthani Province, led by Khun Worachote Lamudthong, Programme Manager, and team. This activity aims to demonstrate implementation procedures to teachers, from target education institutes who join the project, Health and Social Services mobile unit and related network partners that are working on integrating sexual health promotion and prevention and activity planning for youths in education institutes. The meeting was attended by project and health network partners, namely, representative from Pathumthani Provincial Public Health Office and teachers who joined the project as advisors from Bangkok University, Rangsit University, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi and Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University.

On September 12th, the mobile health unit of the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) continued its field operation at Wat Tham Phachom, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province, which was the first village to receive the surge of flash floods coming from the Myanmar side.
