PPAT Successfully Passes IPPF Member Association Quality Accreditation Review

On March 15, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sukanya Sripho, Secretary General of the Association, together with Miss Dadchaneeya Ruttanasiri, Registrar and PPAT Youth Committee Member, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Executive Director, and the PPAT Executive Team, attended the session to receive the results of the In-Country Accreditation Review (ICAR). The review was conducted by representatives from the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) from March 10 to 15, 2025, at the PPAT Headquarters on Vibhavadi Rangsit Soi 44, Bangkok.

The unofficial results were highly satisfactory, with the Association passing all assessment criteria. Notable strengths included the organization’s up-to-date policy framework, robust financial systems, effective modernization of Baan Hormlamduan Elderly Care Home, a transparent and structured process for selecting the Association’s Board Members, systematic monitoring and evaluation practices, equitable and standardized services at PPAT medical clinics, and an efficient organizational resource management system.

During the session, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sukanya Sripho remarked that the evaluation reflected the Association’s high standards of operation. She emphasized that the results would bolster confidence among government and private sector partners both domestically and internationally. On behalf of the PPAT Board of Directors, she expressed her gratitude to the evaluation panel, the 17th Board of Directors, the executive team, all staff and volunteers, as well as all partner organizations from government, civil society, and the private sector for their continuous support in helping PPAT achieve its goals.
