PPAT with 3 Partner Organizations Organize World Contraception Day 2022 Activity

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luedech Girdwichai, PPAT President, welcomed Women Health Care team of Bayer Thailand with Mr. Somjet Srikanok, PPAT Executive Director and Mr. Panatphong Noradee, Manager of Information Education and Motivation Department, to discuss and exchange World Contraception Day 2022 activity preparation under the campaign theme of “Breaking Myths”. The activity was co-conducted by Department of Health, Ministry of Public Health, and Bayer Thailand on 25 September 2022 at 13.00 onwards in which there were various activities and also a mini concert from Yes Indeed Band.

PPAT Pattani Distributes Mini Dignity Kitsin Flood-Affected Areas of Thailand’s Deep South

During December 7–8, the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) Pattani Provincial Office distributed hygiene kits for women and girls, along with essential household items, to flood-affected communities in Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat provinces. These areas had been experiencing severe and prolonged flooding. PPAT believes that everyone deserves equal care and support, no matter what situation they are facing. PPAT conducted a workshop on 9 March 2023 to enhance communication capacities for Peer Leaders and Teacher Leaders through the project the HIV Prevention Promotion among Youths in Educational Institutes in Pathumthani Province to build up understanding on HIV prevention that they can accurately disseminate this knowledge within the education institutes afterwards.
