Providing Flood Relief Assistance in Tak Province

On July 28th, a representative of the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) in Mae Sot District, Tak Province, delivered essential household and food supplies to residents affected by flooding in areas where access and transportation were severely disrupted. The Association provided initial assistance to a total of 90 households.

On October 15th, Mr. Pongsakorn Saokhiao, Project Officer, traveled to Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province, to distribute hygiene kits to 35 households of young mothers under the age of 20 who had been affected by severe flooding. Access to the area was extremely difficult, with travel possible only by boat. The hygiene kits included sanitary pads, male and female underwear, towels, condoms, and essential daily necessities.
