PPAT Chiang Rai Clinic Opening to Develop Family Planning Work in the Area

PPAT has newly opened a clinic in Chiang Rai province to develop family planning work in the area to promote quality birth and reduce unplanned pregnancy.

On 29 April 2023, Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother, organized the clinic opening ceremony at Chiang Rai clinic with the aims to; a) Serve as the SRHR learning source b) Operate as the SRHR and Family Planning service provider c) Reduce unplanned pregnancy problems within the area and nearby locations.

The opening ceremony was honorary attended by Mr. Puttipong Sirimart, Chiang Rai Governer, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luedech Girdwichai, PPAT President and council members as well as network partners, namely, Chiang Rai Administrative Organization, Chiang Rai Royal Thai Police, Chiang Rai Ratchaprachanukroeh Hospital, Chiang Rai Social Development and Human Security Office, Chiang Rai Women Center, Chiang Rai Technology College, Chiang Rai Commercial Vocational College, Chiang Rai Non-Formal Education Office, Chiang Rai Population and Community Development Association (PDA), Chiang Rai Public Health Office, Chiang Rai MPLUS Foundation and Chiang Rai Raks Thai Foundation.

PPAT Chiang Rai clinic is located at PPAT building 91/4-5, Moo 22, Rob Wieng Subdistrict, Mueng District. Open from Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM (except public holidays).
