Rattanakosin Technological College Students Learn How to Use Condom Properly

On 3 February 2023, PPAT instructors’ team, led by Khun Waranya Prasert, senior programme officer, and team conducted an appealing knowledge dissemination activity on unplanned pregnancy and STIs for year 1 vocational college students in which they had learnt about various types of effective contraceptive methods, especially condom use. Ms. Khanittha Fongchame, Deputy Director of Student Affairs, welcomed the team to implement the activity at Rattanakosin Technological College.

This activity was conducted under the project Increasing Access to Knowledge and Services on Sexual and Reproductive Health and HIV Prevention in Education Institutes and Communities. PPAT cooperated with Department of Children and Youth and Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, supported by Thai Health Promotion Foundation, to conduct an experience sharing seminar at Udonthani Welfare Center for Girls, which participated by executives from 18 welfare centers, director general of the Department of Children and Youth, PPAT secretary general (term 16) and executive director of Children, Youth and Family Well-being division of Thai Health Promotion Foundation….
During 15–18 January, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Executive Director of PPAT , along with PPAT Senior staff, had a discussion and exchange with Mr. Rishikeshan Thiyagaraja, Assistant Director, and Mr. Manjula Chathuranga Liyanage, Technical Advisor, representatives from IPPF Social Enterprise Hub, to jointly discuss development approaches for operating Baan Hormlamduan Elderly Care Center to succeed, and also transferred knowledge about social enterprise operations, focusing on marketing work, which will benefit PPAT operations in the future….
