On August 28, a team of instructors from the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT), led by Khun Worachote Lamudthong, Project Manager, visited the area to conduct a participatory training workshop to provide knowledge on reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and effective methods of contraception. The training targeted young students from North Bangkok University, Rangsit Campus, Bangkok, and was supported by funding from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation Thailand (AHF Thailand).

The educational session focused on topics related to reproductive health, prevention of unintended pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, and sexual and reproductive health rights. These subjects were delivered through participatory learning activities such as demonstrations on the correct use of condoms and methods to prevent sexually transmitted infections. Additionally, VCT/STIs screening services were provided to the students. The participants gained not only knowledge but also enjoyment and a sense of safety, which will help them build resilience and protect themselves effectively.
