Exchange of Telemedicine Experiences

On August 3–4, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Director of the Association, led a working group to participate in a review meeting on the Telemedicine Services for Abortion Self-Care in Southern Thailand project.

The meeting was opened with a welcome address by Mrs. Ameenoh Meedsen, a board member of the Association, at Kwanjutha 1 Conference Room, Park In Town Hotel, Mueang District, Pattani Province.

Participants included medical professionals, doctors, nurses, public health academics, religious leaders, and community representatives. Notable attendees were Mr. Waedueramae Mamingji, Chairman of the Pattani Provincial Islamic Committee, and Mr. Mohamed Durao, Deputy Mayor of Rusamilae Subdistrict.

On November 21st, a team of speakers from the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) (Chiang Rai PPAT Medical Clinic) visited Chiang Rai Technical College to provide education on sexual health, reproductive health, and sexual violence to the students.
