Exchange of Telemedicine Experiences

On August 3–4, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Director of the Association, led a working group to participate in a review meeting on the Telemedicine Services for Abortion Self-Care in Southern Thailand project.

The meeting was opened with a welcome address by Mrs. Ameenoh Meedsen, a board member of the Association, at Kwanjutha 1 Conference Room, Park In Town Hotel, Mueang District, Pattani Province.

Participants included medical professionals, doctors, nurses, public health academics, religious leaders, and community representatives. Notable attendees were Mr. Waedueramae Mamingji, Chairman of the Pattani Provincial Islamic Committee, and Mr. Mohamed Durao, Deputy Mayor of Rusamilae Subdistrict.

This morning (March 20), Ms. Nuchanat Raruen, Project Manager for Capacity Development in Sexual and Reproductive Health in Emergency Situations (SPRINT 2), represented the Family Planning Association of Thailand to receive a certificate of appreciation from the Karen Refugee Committee (KRC).
