Exchange of Telemedicine Experiences

On August 3–4, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Director of the Association, led a working group to participate in a review meeting on the Telemedicine Services for Abortion Self-Care in Southern Thailand project.

The meeting was opened with a welcome address by Mrs. Ameenoh Meedsen, a board member of the Association, at Kwanjutha 1 Conference Room, Park In Town Hotel, Mueang District, Pattani Province.

Participants included medical professionals, doctors, nurses, public health academics, religious leaders, and community representatives. Notable attendees were Mr. Waedueramae Mamingji, Chairman of the Pattani Provincial Islamic Committee, and Mr. Mohamed Durao, Deputy Mayor of Rusamilae Subdistrict.

PPAT conducted a workshop, on 29 March 2023, to improve communication capability to Teacher Leaders who join the HIV Prevention Promotion among Youths in Educational Institutes Project (second period). This morning (June 27th), Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Executive Director of PPAT, along with Khun Serene Ramnee, PPAT Project Manager, and their team, welcomed a delegation from the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). The visit was an opportunity for the delegation to observe the operations of the PPAT Bangkhen Medical Clinic and the Baan Hormlamduan Elderly Care Facility.
