On September 16-17, Khun Worachote Lamudthong, Project Manager, led a team of trainers from the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) to conduct a capacity-building workshop for visually impaired youth leaders under the Comprehensive Sexuality Education Curriculum Development Project for Visually Impaired Youth. The event was held at Princeton Bangkok Hotel and was implemented by the Ratchasuda College, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. This training focused on key topics such as reproductive health, unplanned pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), sexual rights, and reproductive rights through interactive learning activities. These included “Know Yourself, Know Others” exercises, public speaking and practical training, basic counseling skills workshops, and Ratchasuda theater activities. Participants gained both knowledge and enjoyment, equipping them with self-protection skills that contribute to improving their quality of life.
