“No Risk, No Infection!” PPAT Joins Hands with RMUTT to Build Sustainable HIV/STI Protection for Youth

This morning (July 18th), the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) continued its efforts by organizing a practical workshop to provide education on the prevention of HIV/AIDS, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), and effective contraception to youth from Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT). The activity was held under the project “Promoting HIV Infection Prevention among Youth in Educational Institutions in Pathum Thani Province.” Mrs. Sasiprapha Aswawibul, Assistant to the President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, honored the event by presiding over the opening ceremony. The main goals were for students to: assess risky behaviors, learn methods of self-protection, receive HIV/STI screening services, receive free condoms to promote comprehensive prevention. This project emphasizes the importance of fostering good reproductive health and accurate understanding among youth to reduce the risk of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.
