PPAT Khon Kaen Medical Clinic Deploys Unit to Provide Sexually Transmitted Infections Prevention Education in Service Establishments

Last evening (July 23rd), the PPAT Khon Kaen Medical Clinic, in collaboration with Khon Kaen Hospital and volunteers, conducted proactive outreach. They deployed a mobile unit to provide education on Sexually Transmitted Infection (STIs) prevention and offered voluntary HIV testing in service establishments in Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province. This activity is part of the Project to Promote HIV Infection Prevention among Female Service Workers, which receives funding support from the National Health Security Office (NHSO) Region 7. The goals of the project are to: foster a correct understanding of STIs prevention, promote access to HIV screening services for the target group, reduce the rate of new HIV infections. The knowledge gained is intended to empower the target group to effectively care for themselves and prevent STIs.
