PPAT Organizes Orientation for 18th Board, Laying the Foundation for Sustainable Development

Between August 2-3, the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) organized the ‘Orientation and Workshop for Developing Operational Guidelines and Strategy for the 18th Board of Directors’ at the Novotel Rayong Rim Pae Resort. The members of the 18th Board of Directors attended in full force to collectively determine the association’s direction and operational strategy. The event was presided over by Assoc. Prof., Naval Lt. Manopchai Thamkhantho, R.N., the President of the Association, along with the members of the 18th Board, which includes: Asst. Prof. Dr.Somjaree Preeyanont (Secretary-General), Mrs.Penpan Chittasenee (Treasurer), Mrs.Duangkamol Ponchamin (Registrar), Prof. Dr.Ratana Somrongthong, Mrs. Rungrasami Sriwongphan, Miss Kannika Kijtiwechkul, Dr. Kittipong Saejeng, Mr. Chavang Thaiying, Mr. Wichian Neamnom, Mr. Akrom Lertariyapongkul, and the Youth Committee members: Miss. Nada Binroheem, Miss. Pornpatima Woottisanwattana, Mr. Boonyarit Phukthong, and Mr. Muhammadkaifan Salaeh.

On October 15th, Mr. Pongsakorn Saokhiao, Project Officer, traveled to Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province, to distribute hygiene kits to 35 households of young mothers under the age of 20 who had been affected by severe flooding.
