PPAT Supports SRHR Media Kits for Mae Fa Luang Youth

On August 26, the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT), through its Chiang Rai Provincial Office, donated media kits on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) to youth leaders in the Mae Fa Luang District. These kits are intended to be used as tools for disseminating knowledge about reproductive health. Miss Kornrawee Sanduang, Project Manager, and Mr. Pongsakorn Saokhiao, Project Officer of the PPAT Chiang Rai Provincial Office, represented the association in presenting the media kits to Mr. Rattakhet Chueamahaawan, Director of the Mae Fa Luang District Learning Promotion Center (NFE), and his team of teachers, who accepted the materials. This activity is being carried out under the project “Capacity Development to Strengthen Ethnic Youth Leaders in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Chiang Rai Province.”

The purpose of this support is to encourage youth, especially those from ethnic groups in remote areas, to access accurate and essential information about sexual and reproductive health and rights. This is part of empowering youth to take care of themselves and become leaders in raising appropriate awareness within their own communities.

During December 7–8, the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) Pattani Provincial Office distributed hygiene kits for women and girls, along with essential household items, to flood-affected communities in Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat provinces. These areas had been experiencing severe and prolonged flooding. PPAT believes that everyone deserves equal care and support, no matter what situation they are facing.
