Bann Hormlamduan Nursing Home’s Opening and PPAT 52nd Anniversary-Blessing Ceremony

PPAT organized an opening ceremony of Bann Hormlamduan Nursing Home and merit-making ceremony in the occasion of 52nd Anniversary of PPAT. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shayaniss Kono, PPAT Secretary-General, chaired a ceremony with participants from 17th Council members, Prof. Dr. Surasak Taneepanichskul, former president of 16th Council and other honorary guests.

Bann Hormlamduan Nursing Home is founded to serve ageing society. It has 20 beds, 4 VIP rooms and 2 normal rooms for 6 beds each, located at Soi Vibhavadi 44, Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand building.

Providing Reproductive Health Education for Visually Impaired Individuals to Enhance Life Quality.

On July 1-2, a team of instructors from PPAT organized a reproductive health education camp for visually impaired youth under a project to develop an inclusive sex education curriculum for youth with visual impairments. This initiative is carried out by the Rajsuda Institute, Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. Welcoming the Acedamic Visit from the University of Tokyo

On March 18, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Executive Director of the Association, Khun Serene Ramnee, Project Manager of PPAT, and PPAT staff warmly welcomed and presented the work of PPAT to the study visit delegation from the University of Tokyo, Japan. They also exchanged ideas on collaborative working approaches.
