Bann Hormlamduan Nursing Home’s Opening and PPAT 52nd Anniversary-Blessing Ceremony

PPAT organized an opening ceremony of Bann Hormlamduan Nursing Home and merit-making ceremony in the occasion of 52nd Anniversary of PPAT. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shayaniss Kono, PPAT Secretary-General, chaired a ceremony with participants from 17th Council members, Prof. Dr. Surasak Taneepanichskul, former president of 16th Council and other honorary guests.

Bann Hormlamduan Nursing Home is founded to serve ageing society. It has 20 beds, 4 VIP rooms and 2 normal rooms for 6 beds each, located at Soi Vibhavadi 44, Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand building.

This morning (July 29th), the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) continued its activities under the “PPAT Moon Blood Festival” project. Most recently, it organized an in-depth training session for youth at the Rattanakosin Technology College. Learning to Use Condoms to Prevent Unintended Pregnancy / VCT/STIs Screening for Students

On August 28, a team of instructors from the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT), led by Khun Worachote Lamudthong, Project Manager, visited the area to conduct a participatory training workshop to provide knowledge on reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and effective methods of contraception.
