On June 22, 2023, Khun Worachote Lamudthong, Project Manager, represented the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) in receiving a scholarship donation of 104,370 THB from senior executives of the Grand Hyatt Hotel Group. The donation was presented by Edouard Demptos, General Manager, and Xuwat Wongchotewattana, Regional Director of Human Resources for Thailand, Cambodia, and the Maldives, at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok.

The Grand Hyatt Hotel Group initiated this pilot scholarship program for LGBTQIA+ youth 🏳️‍🌈 to promote equal opportunities and celebrate Pride Month. PPAT was the only civil society organization entrusted with managing this initiative, providing scholarships to high-achieving LGBTQIA+ students facing financial hardship. This heartwarming initiative marked a meaningful closing for the end of Pride Month, leaving a lasting impact on the community.
