PPAT Chiang Rai Medical Clinic Continues Providing Support in Mae Sai

DOG00472

In the evening of October 8, the Chiang Rai PPAT Medical Clinic team, led by Khun Kornrawee Sanduang, Project Manager, along with Khun Pongsakorn Saokhiao, Project Officer, and team members, remained stationed in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province, to continue offering assistance to those affected by the recent flooding and landslides in the area.

The team actively coordinated with the Mae Sai Municipality, disaster relief agencies, and partner organizations to deploy mobile reproductive health services to affected residents, regardless of ethnicity, religion, or nationality. This mission forms part of the project titled “Meeting the Essential SRH Needs of Communities Affected by Floods and Landslides in Northern Thailand,” which is financially supported by the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). Although floodwaters have begun to recede, many homes remain buried in mud, and roads remain difficult to traverse.
