Meeting summarizing operations on youth work development in the northern region

On the past 26 December, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Executive Director of PPAT, and project working team participated in a meeting to review and exchange learning with partner networks on the implementation of the “Empowering our Youth Project” to enable youth access to reproductive health and family planning equally and thoroughly, which is operated in Chiang Mai province.
To jointly summarize project operations, the outcome of this project shows commitment to promoting the potential of all youth groups comprehensively, including sexual and reproductive health rights and family planning, focusing mainly on youth participation. The meeting was honored by Khun Duangkamol Ponchamni, representative of UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund), giving an opening speech and also joining New Year celebration activities with a warm heartfelt atmosphere.

On 3 February 2023, PPAT instructors’ team, led by Khun Waranya Prasert, senior programme officer, and team conducted an appealing knowledge dissemination activity on unplanned pregnancy and STIs for year 1 vocational college students in which they had learnt about various types of effective contraceptive methods, especially condom use.
