Field visit to Omkoi for maternal and child health care

On 18 June, a team of maternal and child health specialists from the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand and staff from PPAT Northern Office, Chiang Mai Province, conducted a rainy-season home visit to young mothers facing anemia during pregnancy and postpartum. These mothers live in hard-to-reach areas in Omkoi District, Chiang Mai Province. This activity is part of a youth empowerment project supported by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Reckitt.

They also exchanged ideas on collaborative working approaches. Associate Professor Dr. Nattha Thanepanichsakul from the College of Public Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, joined in the exchange during this occasion….
