From November 18–21, the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) organized a practical training workshop on emergency preparedness planning. The event was officially opened and welcomed by Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Director of PPAT, and featured speakers from the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), including Ms. Sara Ilyse Jacobson, ACRO Humanitarian Technical Advisor, and Ms. Diana C. Pulido Martínez, Global Technical Lead for Humanitarian Programs. The training was attended by PPAT executives and staff from all departments.
The objective of the workshop was to strengthen the capacity of staff in developing emergency preparedness plans that can be applied in real emergency situations, with a focus on reproductive health, maternal and child health, and domestic violence.
