Reproductive Health Education at Mengrai Maharaj School

On November 23rd, a team of speakers from the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT) (Chiang Rai PPAT Medical Clinic/Chiang Mai PPAT Medical Clinic) visited the area to provide education on sexual health, reproductive health, and sexual violence to students at Mengrai Maharaj School. The focus was on preventing unplanned pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). This activity was carried out under the project: “Meeting the essential SRH needs of communities affected by floods and landslides in Northern Thailand,” which receives funding support from the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). The educational activities were enjoyable.

On March 18, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Executive Director of the Association, Khun Serene Ramnee, Project Manager of PPAT, and PPAT staff warmly welcomed and presented the work of PPAT to the study visit delegation from the University of Tokyo, Japan. They also exchanged ideas on collaborative working approaches. Associate Professor Dr. Nattha Thanepanichsakul from the College of Public Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, joined in the exchange during this occasion….
On October 23rd, the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother, in collaboration with the Bor Farang Rimnam Community and Public Health Service Center 17 Prachaniwet, organized the activity “In Remembrance of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother’s Benevolence” on the occasion of her birthday anniversary. Her Royal Highness is the patron of the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand. The event took place at Bor Farang Rimnam Community, Chatuchak District, Bangkok….
