IPPF Visits PPAT Medical Clinic to Observe Ongoing Work

On September 30, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Director of the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT), together with Khun Saneekan Rosamontri, Project Research and Development Manager, and Khun Serene Ramnee, Project Manager, welcomed members and staff from the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) during their visit to exchange insights and observe the work of PPAT. The visit included a tour of the PPAT Medical Clinic and the Ban Hom Lamduan Elderly Care Facility, highlighting PPAT’s comprehensive approach to healthcare services. PPAT has long been the sole member organization representing Thailand in IPPF.

On 3 February 2023, PPAT instructors’ team, led by Khun Waranya Prasert, senior programme officer, and team conducted an appealing knowledge dissemination activity on unplanned pregnancy and STIs for year 1 vocational college students in which they had learnt about various types of effective contraceptive methods, especially condom use.
