PPAT Educates Youth on Preparation for Partnership and Life Skills

This morning (August 13), the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand (PPAT), led by Miss Serene Ramnee, the Project Manager, and a team of speakers, conducted a proactive activity to build knowledge and understanding of reproductive health among young people. The PPAT Moon Blood Festival project was held at Sasanabhorihan Business Vocational College. The objective of this educational session was to reinforce correct understanding regarding key issues related to adolescent life. The content covered a variety of useful topics, including: preparation for various lifestyles and healthy relationships, marriage and family life, sexual violence and sexual abuse, the influence of media, society, and culture. The event featured in-depth lectures alongside activities and games designed to encourage participation, allowing young people to learn and exchange ideas in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.

On 13 February, a team of facilitators from PPAT, led by Project Manager Mr. Worachote Lamudthong, conducted a hands-on reproductive health education workshop under a project focused on HIV/STIs prevention and teenage pregnancy prevention. The workshop provided reproductive health knowledge, pregnancy prevention methods, STIs prevention, as well as sexual and reproductive rights to both youth and older adults in Samut Prakan province.
