PPAT Staff Trained in Family Planning Counseling Techniques

On the second day (July 17th) of the Quality of Care (QOC) Annual Workshop 2025, the focus was on learning techniques for counseling on safe abortion options and family planning.Ms. Warunee Tungsiri, Manager of the PPAT Khon Kaen Medical Clinic, covered the session.Ms. Uthaiwan Kengthindong, Manager of the PPAT Pinklao Medical Clinic, and her team reviewed the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for Family Planning. Khun Kornrawee Sanduang and her team covered Risk and Incident Management. The capacity-building training for PPAT Medical Clinic staff and PPAT project staff is being held from July 16th to 18th, 2025, at the Novotel Rayong Star Convention Center, Mueang District, Rayong Province.

On July 1-2, a team of instructors from PPAT organized a reproductive health education camp for visually impaired youth under a project to develop an inclusive sex education curriculum for youth with visual impairments. PPAT conducted a training to blind and other volunteers on 3 May 2022 under the project “Covid-19 Prevention and Care Accessibility to Most At-Risk Population” at the meeting room of Thailand Association of the Blind.
