From October 3–6, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sukanya Sripho, PPAT Secretary, along with Ms. Penpan Chittasenee, PPAT Treasurer, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, PPAT Director, and the PPAT Chiang Mai team, participated in a meeting to exchange knowledge on maternal and child health care for ethnic minorities and residents in remote areas in Mae Hong Son. The session, organized by the Regional Health Promotion Center 1 in Chiang Mai and UNFPA Thailand and Vietnam, focused on improving access to prenatal and childbirth services in these hard-to-reach communities. This initiative aligns with PPAT’s strategic goals to ensure reproductive health services are accessible to target groups, particularly for adolescent pregnancy prevention and support for pregnant women in remote areas.
