PPAT conducted a workshop, on 29 March 2023, to improve communication capability to Teacher Leaders who join the HIV Prevention Promotion among Youths in Educational Institutes Project (second period). This workshop was conducted to strengthen communication skills in relation with HIV prevention to Teacher Leaders and for them to disseminate the knowledge to youth in education institutes accurately. On 17 – 19 March 2023, Ms. Dadchaneeya Ruttnasiri, PPAT Youth Representative with Mr. Paramet Maneerat and Mr. Sooksodchuen Sooksomjitr, PPAT Youth Council Members as well as Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Executive Director, PPAT staff and network organizations attended the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) Charter and Rebrand Meeting and Consultation at Mandarin Bangkok Hotel. PPAT collaborated with Labour Rights Promotion Network Foundation (LPN) and PROUD Association to organize a campaign in the occasion of International Women’s Day 2023, on 12 March 2023, under the topic #ป้องกันและส่งเสริมเด็กผู้หญิงและสตรีรู้เท่าทันเรื่องเพศอย่างเท่าเทียม (Protect and Promote girls and women to equal sexual rights acknowledgement) through the Pilot End-to-End Referral System to Increase Female Migrant Workers’ Access to Comprehensive Abortion Care Project. The campaigned was chaired by Ms. Ladda Jitwatanapataya, PPAT Executive Director Representative, with the presence of Mr. Sakorn Satalalai, Programme Manager, Mr. Sompong Sakaeo, LPN Executive Director and PPAT team.  There were many interesting activities within the campaign, for example, Q&A activities, music show by Migrant Workers and etc. PPAT also took this opportunity to promote PPAT hotline call center 1452 to migrant workers who encounter unplanned pregnancy. PPAT conducted a workshop on 9 March 2023 to enhance communication capacities for Peer Leaders and Teacher Leaders through the project the HIV Prevention Promotion among Youths in Educational Institutes in Pathumthani Province to build up understanding on HIV prevention that they can accurately disseminate this knowledge within the education institutes afterwards. The workshop was led by Khun Worachote Lamudthong, Programme Manager, and team with the Peer Leaders from network universities, namely, Bangkok University, Rangsit University, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi and Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University….
On 7 March 2023, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, PPAT Executive Director, welcomed Japanese representatives, which were coordinated by Matsunaga Thailand Company Limited, to visit Baan Hormlamduan Nursing Home to share and discuss Nursing Home Management in Thailand and Japan as well as future opportunity to provide service to Japanese elderly, service channel to receive Japanese recipients in Thailand and initiative services in the Nursing Home….
Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, PPAT Executive Director, with board members and staff from all regions participated in the Strategic Plan 2023 – 2028 Adjustment workshop on 24 – 25 February 2023 in order for all staff to understand the new strategic plan. PPAT conducted a meeting to conduct implementation planning and guidance on 15 February 2023, under the project The HIV Prevention Promotion among Youths in Educational Institutes in Pathumthani Province, led by Khun Worachote Lamudthong, Programme Manager, and team. This activity aims to demonstrate implementation procedures to teachers, from target education institutes who join the project, Health and Social Services mobile unit and related network partners that are working on integrating sexual health promotion and prevention and activity planning for youths in education institutes. The meeting was attended by project and health network partners, namely, representative from Pathumthani Provincial Public Health Office and teachers who joined the project as advisors from Bangkok University, Rangsit University, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi and Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University….

On 3 February 2023, PPAT instructors’ team, led by Khun Waranya Prasert, senior programme officer, and team conducted an appealing knowledge dissemination activity on unplanned pregnancy and STIs for year 1 vocational college students in which they had learnt about various types of effective contraceptive methods, especially condom use. Ms. Khanittha Fongchame, Deputy Director of Student Affairs, welcomed the team to implement the activity at Rattanakosin Technological College. This activity was conducted under the project Increasing Access to Knowledge and Services on Sexual and Reproductive Health and HIV Prevention in Education Institutes and Communities.
