PPAT collaborated with Panyapiwat Institute of Management to conduct campaign activity topic “Don’t start, Don’t ignore, Don’t tolerate, It is time to end sexual harassment”, on 17 June 2022, under the project “Changing Sexual Harassment against Women in Education Institutes in Bangkok”. There were participants from Panyapiwat Institute of Management and PPAT, which are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shayaniss Kono, Secretary-General, Mr. Wichian Neamnom, Principle of Panyapiwat Institute of Management and PPAT council member, Mr. Sooksodchuen Sooksomchitra and Ms. Dadchaneeya Ruttanasity, youth council members and Mr. Somjet Srikanok, Executive Director. The activity included creative booths from the project and performance by Yes Indeed Band. Thank you, Major Cineplex, for prize sponsorship. รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ชญานิศวร์ โคโนะ เลขาธิการสมาคมฯ  กล่าวว่า  การคุกคามทางเพศในประเทศไทยมักเป็นเรื่องที่ถูกมองข้าม จากรายงานการสำรวจการคุกคามทางเพศ ในประเทศไทยต่อนักเรียนนักศึกษาหญิงในเขตกรุงเทพนั้นสูงถึงร้อยละ 74.3  โดยผู้คุกคามคือเพื่อนชายในชั้นเรียน  ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่เป็นการคุกคามด้วยวาจา และร้อยละ 85 ของนักศึกษาหญิงในระดับปริญญาตรีเคยมีประสบการณ์การโดนคุกคามทางเพศอย่างน้อยหนึ่งครั้ง จากสถานการณ์ดังกล่าว สมาคมฯ จึงดำเนินโครงการรณรงค์ เพื่อสร้างความตระหนัก และสนับสนุนความสำคัญของการยุติ การคุกคาม หรือล่วงละเมิดทางเพศในสถานศึกษาขึ้น เพื่อรณรงค์ให้ยุติการคุกคามทางเพศในสถานศึกษาอย่างจริงจัง ช่วยให้ผู้หญิงในสถานศึกษาได้มีพื้นที่ปลอดภัย คุณสมเจตน์ ศรีกนก ผู้อำนวยการสมาคมฯ กล่าวว่า เราพยายามผลักดันให้สถานศึกษาทุกระดับต้องมีหลักสูตรให้นักเรียนได้เรียนรู้ด้านมืดของการคุกคามทางเพศ  โดยเฉพาะการเรียนรู้เชิงกระบวนการ และมีพื้นที่รับเรื่องร้องเรียน  โดยเฉพาะกรณีครูละเมิดต่อนักเรียน กลไกดังกล่าวต้องมาพร้อมกับโรงเรียนที่เป็นมิตรปลอดภัย ปราศจากระบบอำนาจนิยม และต้องมีการลงโทษนักเรียนที่มีพฤติกรรมคุกคามทางเพศ ด้วยการปรับเปลี่ยนทัศนคติที่ถูกต้อง เป็นการให้บทเรียนแทนการลงโทษแบบผลักไสไล่ส่งออกไปจากสังคม เราอยากเห็นกลไกการทำงานของสถานศึกษาจึงได้นำร่องที่วิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีปัญญาภิวัฒน์ ขณะที่  น.ส. วริทยา รัศมี ตัวแทน Activist จากโครงการฯ  กล่าวว่า ทุกคนทราบดีว่าการคุกคามทางเพศเป็นอาชญากรรม และเป็นปัญหาในสถานศึกษาที่ ถูกซุกอยู่ใต้พรมมานาน เพื่อนผู้ชายตีความการคุกคามทางเพศต้องเป็นเรื่องของการข่มขื่นเท่านั้น …
