PPAT conducted a workshop on 9 March 2023 to enhance communication capacities for Peer Leaders and Teacher Leaders through the project the HIV Prevention Promotion among Youths in Educational Institutes in Pathumthani Province to build up understanding on HIV prevention that they can accurately disseminate this knowledge within the education institutes afterwards. The workshop was led by Khun Worachote Lamudthong, Programme Manager, and team with the Peer Leaders from network universities, namely, Bangkok University, Rangsit University, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi and Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University….
On 7 March 2023, Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, PPAT Executive Director, welcomed Japanese representatives, which were coordinated by Matsunaga Thailand Company Limited, to visit Baan Hormlamduan Nursing Home to share and discuss Nursing Home Management in Thailand and Japan as well as future opportunity to provide service to Japanese elderly, service channel to receive Japanese recipients in Thailand and initiative services in the Nursing Home….
Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, PPAT Executive Director, with board members and staff from all regions participated in the Strategic Plan 2023 – 2028 Adjustment workshop on 24 – 25 February 2023 in order for all staff to understand the new strategic plan. The meeting was also honorably attended by PPAT council, namely, Ms. Penpan Chittasenee, Treasurer, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sukanya Sripho, Registrar, Ms. Sirichandra Balakanich, council member, Asst. PPAT conducted a meeting to conduct implementation planning and guidance on 15 February 2023, under the project The HIV Prevention Promotion among Youths in Educational Institutes in Pathumthani Province, led by Khun Worachote Lamudthong, Programme Manager, and team. This activity aims to demonstrate implementation procedures to teachers, from target education institutes who join the project, Health and Social Services mobile unit and related network partners that are working on integrating sexual health promotion and prevention and activity planning for youths in education institutes. The meeting was attended by project and health network partners, namely, representative from Pathumthani Provincial Public Health Office and teachers who joined the project as advisors from Bangkok University, Rangsit University, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi and Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University….

On 3 February 2023, PPAT instructors’ team, led by Khun Waranya Prasert, senior programme officer, and team conducted an appealing knowledge dissemination activity on unplanned pregnancy and STIs for year 1 vocational college students in which they had learnt about various types of effective contraceptive methods, especially condom use. Ms. Khanittha Fongchame, Deputy Director of Student Affairs, welcomed the team to implement the activity at Rattanakosin Technological College. This activity was conducted under the project Increasing Access to Knowledge and Services on Sexual and Reproductive Health and HIV Prevention in Education Institutes and Communities. PPAT conducted a meeting to present PPAT strategic plan 2023 – 2028 by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kanittha Chamroonsawasdi, on 2 February 2023. The meeting was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ludech Girdwichai, President and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shayaniss Kono, Secretary-General with following attendees; Ms. Penpan Chittasenee, Treasurer, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sukanya Sripho, Registra, Dr. Panpimol Wipulakorn, council member, Ms. Sirichandra Balakanich, council member, Mrs. Ameenoh Meedsen, council member, Ms. Dadchaneeya Ruttanasiri, Youth Representative and Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Executive Director with PPAT management and staff at PPAT meeting room. This meeting was conducted prior the official announcement of the strategic plan 2023 – 2028, with the focus on comprehensive quality of life development….
On 31 January 2023, Mr. Supavit Dittayanurak, council member, chaired a meeting to exchange experience under the project “GROWTH: Grow Together Healthier” with the cooperation between PPAT and Bayer Thai Co. LTD., as well as attended by Dr. Nanthakan Sungsuman Woodham, Executive Director, Mr. Panatphone Noradee, Manager of Information Education and Motivation Division. The meeting was instructed by Mr. Kirkrit Yiamjabok, Khun Narumon Phosuwan and Khun Harifin Wae-arsa to share experience on implementation, challenges and obstacles as well as way forward for better effective performance….
